Westmead celebrates start of Olympic and Paralympic Games
Over 400 staff members from across Westmead celebrated the opening of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris at the Precinct's Westmead Innovation Centre.
With organisations showcasing the latest research, programs, products and ways for staff members to get involved, there was something for everyone. And on top of that, there was plenty of fun – including rowing and bike challenges, table tennis, and trivia.
Westmead Health Precinct's Glen Stubbings led the organisation of the event.
"The Precinct is for everyone, irrespective of your role. To see more than 400 people come together and connect is wonderful to see. It really shows what's possible and the importance for the Westmead Health Precinct to build a sense of community."
