Interest in the Westmead Health Precinct is growing

Recently, a Korean media delegation toured the Precinct - a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase the impressive work which is being undertaken in the ambit of health, research, education, innovation and business.

The journalists toured the biocontainment unit, the first of its kind in NSW, to gain a further understanding of how we are equipped to tackle highly infectious diseases, and learn about the world-leading research we are working on in response to COVID-19.

The visitors also joined our teams in the labs and clinical spaces to showcase the incredible opportunity on offer for overseas businesses to partner and invest in our world-leading research and health services.

Western Sydney Local Health District, along with the Precinct Partners would like to thank the delegation of Korean media for their visit to the Westmead Health Precinct and hope they were excited by the innovation in medical research happening in Sydney.
